[Just a typical day. Here's Alan curled up on the couch with the newspaper in one hand and a cup of tea in the other balanced on his knee. He's just thinking a bit, maybe he should look into a job just to pass the time and help Eric out a bit.]

[Those words had stunned him into silence the rest of the walk back to the apartment but he held tight to Eric. Soon they are back at the apartment and he slips in first. He'll stop hanging his suit coat up, his tie shoved in one of the pockets. He'll let Eric follow him in and close the door. Once the door closes and the lock slides into place his lips twitch forming a smirk and he motions Eric to him with a gesture of his finger.]

[The pair decide to simply manifest from the sidewalk outside the hospital door, to the apartment. But, the journey leaves the weakened Eric a little dizzy. When they arrive, Eric sways on his feet and grips Alan's shoulder.]
